Treatment of Peyronie's disease with shockwave and without side effects
Get reduced curvature, increased length and improved sexual function
Professional thorough examination and shock wave treatment of peyronies by a specialist
Are you the ONE in 10 who has noticed the first signs of Peyronie's disease?
I understand your frustration and your need to get back to the sex life you want.
I offer you a personalized, safe and innovative focused shockwave and EMTT treatment for Peyronie's disease, without side effects or surgery.
I ALWAYS do an ultrasound scan of the penis before treatment, as peyronies can manifest in many ways.
This affects which type of shockwave treatment should be chosen to give you the best results.
If you just feel with your fingers and don't do an ultrasound, you risk getting the wrong treatment, and you don't deserve that.
That's why I will help you every step of the way, even if your doctor has refused to help you.
As one of Europe's Europe's leading specialists in shockwave therapy for Peyronie's disease, I help men from all over Europe with a 90% success rate to reduce curvature and increase sexual function every day.
I can feel a significant difference in function and the curvature is well reduced already after the first 5 treatments, by more than 50%, Kim W
Do you want to be one of the 9 out of 10 who get less curvature and better sex?
The earlier you react to symptoms such as pain, hard lumps or curvature, the better your chances of limiting the damage, reducing curvature and increasing erections again.
Especially within the first year, the best results are seen.
EMTT and shockwave therapy is an effective and safe solution for peyronies proven by clinical studies.
Only less than 10% of cases go away on their own, so it's important to get the right treatment in time to avoid lasting problems with sexual function.
If you have diabetes or a connective tissue disease, this can further complicate the condition.
If your doctor or urologist has said 'wait and see', it's important to consider other options that may prevent the need for an unpleasant surgery with side effects.
I've created a unique overview of your treatment options and important information about Peyronie's disease.
So you don't waste valuable time and risk your penis taking on a shape and function that makes intercourse impossible.
You can always contact me for a non-binding dialog and guidance about Peyronie's disease and the options available to you.
The curvature has decreased by about 15 degrees compared to the 30 degrees I had before treatment, Frank
Examination and treatment without side effects in a safe and caring private clinic
When you visit me for the first time, we start with a thorough ultrasound examination of your entire penis.
This is an important part of the process as it helps us understand exactly what is causing the curvature - what kind of tissue involvement is the problem.
The examination forms the basis of your treatment plan, where together we look at your prognosis and the exercises that will be most beneficial for you.
I choose which of the four types of focused shockwave available at the clinic is most suitable for your particular type of Peyronie's disease, giving you a safe and effective result.
To ensure the best possible results, we combine shockwave therapy with EMTT.
Shockwave therapy is a gentle method that has no side effects.
It helps to reduce pain, inflammation and plaque formation while significantly reducing curvature.
Many of those I have treated experience improvements in both length and fullness of the penis, and the unwanted hourglass shape becomes less prominent or disappears completely.
Shockwave therapy increases tissue elasticity, breaks down or reduces plaque and improves blood flow, which also improves erections.
Already after the first peyronie's treatment, I noticed that the penis was more flexible and fuller and not as short as before, David
Kort introduktion och förklaring av behandlingen
Wait and see, we can always operate on you, no thanks!
I only recommend surgery as a last resort when all other options have been tried.
Surgery can often cause unpleasant side effects such as extra pain, 2-3 cm shorter penis length and erection problems.
Unfortunately, over the past few years I have met and treated over 40 men who have experienced these challenges after surgery.
And unfortunately also men where the curvature has returned despite the surgery.
My goal is to provide you with a safe and effective treatment that is unique to my clinic.
You'll get a personalized and caring experience that you won't find anywhere else in the Nordics.
Get an exclusive innovative treatment program tailored to your curvature
When you choose me as your Peyronie's disease practitioner, you can be sure to receive effective and personalized treatment from an international specialist who truly understands your situation.
A typical treatment program with me consists of 8-12 sessions of high-intensity focused shockwave therapy combined with EMTT, all carefully guided by advanced ultrasound scanning.
This ensures that each treatment is precise and tailored to your unique situation.
In the early stages of Peyronie's, when plaque and fibrosis are not yet fully developed, I am able to significantly reduce scar tissue formation.
This can help avoid or minimize the problem in the long run.
If scar tissue has already formed, I am one of the few people in Europe with access to state-of-the-art equipment that can provide the high-intensity treatment required.
Good service, competent treatment and a warm welcome that makes you feel safe, Max

Frequently asked questions about Peyronie's disease
When you come for your first consultation, I will go through the whole issue with you in depth, both with physical and psychological effects.
The first consultation is structured as follows.
- We talk about how the whole situation affects you on a psychological and sexual level.
- We talk about your general health, whether there is a family history of fibrotic disease and the impact the condition has on your erectile function
- We take a body composition measurement and a body balance and health screening with the Inbody770 system. Read more further down.
- I do a series of ultrasound scans that explain why the curvature is there and to what extent it affects tissue quality and blood flow as a whole.
I also see the size of any structures inside the penis, so I know how best to treat it. - We talk about your expectations for the treatment and what level we expect to be able to move you to based on the examination results and your general health and motivation to do home exercises.
- We do the first treatment with shockwave and EMTT if you want to start treatment according to the agreed protocol.
When you start treatment, it may be beneficial to bring a photo of your penis in an erect state so we can see how you are affected.
If you feel uncomfortable, I also have a manikin in the clinic that you can show it on.
Ultimately, it is the ultrasound scan that will guide treatment and where we need to intervene.
I will go in-depth to ensure that I can implement the right treatment strategy to help you regain quality in your sex life.

The focused shockwave therapy, also known as ESWT (Extracorporeal ShockWave Therapy).
This is done by 'shooting' high-frequency sound waves into the fibrosis/plaque area via an application head.
This changes the biological processes around the 'sphere' itself so that it breaks down into a less solid form.
This means that when we affect the plaque area during treatment, it will break down into smaller pieces and become more flexible, reducing curvature.
The treatment is free of side effects and is based on basic research and specific studies in shockwave.
In particular, the biological processes of collagen turnover, stem cell release, cell communication and blood vessel formation are the reasons why we can use shockwaves effectively against peyronies.
When combined with EMTT, this is because it has an increased general stimulation that makes the tissue more elastic and flexible, and the processes set in motion can be enhanced by therapies such as stretching exercises, vacuum therapy and the use of penile traction devices can help correct the curvature or bending.
You will be asked to choose specific exercises the first time you come to the clinic, so that you understand how to do the exercises and what it can mean for your curvature in the long run.
I have 4 types of shockwaves available at the clinic.
The advantage of having 4 types of shockwaves in the clinic is that I can offer you a holistic treatment program, depending on what we find on the scan, so that we get the best possible effect and not just settle for one type
Klinik MS Insight works with the best equipment on the market from Storz Medical, Elvation Piezowave and MTS Medical
There are no other clinics offering this combination treatment in Denmark.
The treatment involves applying a gel to the penis where the fibrosis is located and then sending sound waves/shock waves into the area of plaque or fibrosis that I have identified on the ultrasound scan.
The treatment may feel like a pinprick, but is not painful.
In rare cases, a slight soreness may be felt after the treatment.
You can use your penis as normal throughout the treatment and have all the sexual activity you want.
I work with several types of focused shockwave at the clinic, which allows us to target your exact needs and hit the plaque with 1-2 mm accuracy depending on your choice of equipment.
Treatment will always be supported by ultrasound, otherwise we cannot be sure that we are targeting the right structures and not wasting time or money on ineffective treatment.
Treatment options may also include medication, therapy, surgery or a combination of these.
Medication can be used to relieve pain and reduce further plaque formation.
You can always call me at 41400858 for a non-binding conversation and guidance on Peyronie's disease.
To determine the degree of fibrosis/plaque, it is necessary to perform an ultrasound scan, it is not enough to "just" feel.
If no scan is performed, there is a risk of missing important structures, which can affect further treatment.
For example, what feels hard, like a 'plaque', may be the connective tissue that is affected.
It could also be that there are several pieces of plaque, not just one.
You can't always feel it.
But you can see it with the ultrasound scan.
When we do the treatment and we have done the ultrasound scan, we make sure we hit the right area for the subsequent shockwave treatment.
Ultrasound for peyronies is only offered by a few clinics in Denmark, so I have extensive experience and knowledge when it comes to detecting fibrosis/plaque in the penis.
It can also identify if it is the connective tissue that is tight, which is what predicts the problem.
Without an ultrasound scan, it is very difficult to choose the optimal protocol and give a prognosis on the course of treatment.
I'll help you clarify the question and understand the ultrasound images afterwards so you know what to expect.
Here are some examples of different sizes of penile fibrosis.
A normal treatment course lasts 8-12 weeks, with 1-2 weeks of shockwave therapy, where we perform a series of shockwave pulses in the area where the hard "ball/string" is located.
I have chosen to combine this with EMTT to increase the elasticity of the tissue so that there is more "space" again in the tumor bodies.
This allows me to get faster results than with shockwave alone.
After the treatment program, you can expect less curvature, less pain in the area and increased sexual function.
If you have multiple large pieces of plaque or fibrosis, multiple treatments may be required.
At the clinic, I also see more complex cases that require more customized courses tailored to your needs and intensity.
Treatment takes 20-30 minutes depending on the solution you choose.
- It costs from 1.300 DKK per PD Standard treatment, with shockwave and combination of EMTT
- PD Plus, which is a specially developed protocol, costs DKK 2,000 per treatment and is about 3 times more powerful than standard and contains several types of shockwaves and an increased number of pulses.
- Initial examination and treatment costs DKK 2,400 including ultrasound examination.
If you only want a survey, it costs DKK 1,700.
Peyronie's disease is a condition where scar tissue develops in the penis.
The exact cause of Peyronie's disease is still unknown, but it is thought to be caused by microscopic tissue damage or inflammation in the connective tissue surrounding the erectile tissue of the penis.
This damage can trigger an abnormal healing reaction that leads to the formation of plaque or scar tissue in the penis.
Induratio penis plastica can be likened to an inflammatory condition that usually first manifests itself with pain and soreness in the penis.
It is usually most pronounced during erection during intercourse and can affect your sex drive.
It can also lead to erectile dysfunction in severe cases
Scar tissue associated with Peyronie's disease is fibrotic plaques that develop in the penis.
Plaque is a thick and hard scar tissue that forms under the skin of the penis.
It can feel like a stiff or bumpy lump.
Plaque causes a curvature or bending of the penis during an erection and can cause pain and sexual dysfunction.
The typical symptoms of Peyronie's disease are a curvature or bending of the penis during erection, scar tissue or plaque under the skin, pain during erection and difficulty achieving or maintaining an erection.
The curvature can vary in degree, from mild to severe, and can be upward, downward or sideways.
Some men also experience the penis becoming shorter or less enveloping.
Peyronie's disease, which is not congenital, can occur throughout life and can be caused by an autoimmune reaction.
It can be triggered by small injuries to the penis during sexual activity.
Thickened, tender nodules form in the tumor bodies, causing pain and discomfort.
However, the condition is completely harmless.
During the inflammation phase, it is possible to reduce the pain with shockwave and EMTT, as well as to slow down the condition.
Whether congenital or acquired later in life, mild penile deviation causes no symptoms or pain.
It should only be treated in cases where the degree of misalignment makes it difficult or impossible to have sexual intercourse.
The condition usually develops in two phases:
- The first phase often lasts for a year and is characterized by painful erections, while the penis begins to bend and become deformed
- In the second phase, the soreness subsides.
Here, the painful areas heal with stiff scar tissue or plaque.
The result can be an hourglass-shaped penis in an erect state or a curved penis.
The condition will not heal on its own and treatment will be required.
Studies have shown that 10% experience an improvement after 5-10 years, 40% experience a stable condition and 50% experience a worsening over time
Congenital significant penile curvature is relatively rare, affecting less than 1% of men.
However, induratio penis plastica is not uncommon. Prevalence increases with age and affects up to 13% of the male population to varying degrees.
Not everyone experiences discomfort and it is unusual for the condition to be so severe that intercourse with a partner becomes difficult.
As a non-invasive treatment, shockwave is the most effective.
However, in severe cases, surgery is currently the most effective treatment and 50-75% of curvatures are satisfactorily corrected.
However, at least one year must pass from the completion of the curvature process until surgery is offered.
At the clinic, I see many clients who have already undergone surgery without getting the desired results.
Here I see an improvement in the condition with shockwave afterwards.
If peyronies are suspected, ultrasound should be the first choice for investigation.
Diagnosis can also be made through a physical examination of the penis and an assessment of the symptoms, but this can give incorrect answers.
Typically, the penis is examined in the erect position to assess the degree of curvature and the location of plaque or scar tissue.
At MS Insight, ultrasound examination is standard and the first examination performed, as it provides the best insight into tissue involvement, along with physical examination of penile shape and tissue quality.
To give you even more insight into your health status and to see if there are any risk factors in relation to your overall health, an advanced analysis is offered at the first treatment with an InBody770.
The InBody 770 is an advanced body analyzer used to measure body composition, muscle mass, body fat percentage and much more.
The machine can make accurate and detailed measurements, making it suitable for analysis as a complement to treatment.
This can provide an increased qualification of what response to shockwave therapy can be expected in relation to the body's health status.
It can also help track progress in training and dietary changes.
That's why I also offer you the opportunity to take new measurements in connection with any follow-up treatments after the first program.
Then you can see what effect your lifestyle changes have on your overall health, which affects your shockwave results.
A man's penis is often the source of his self-esteem and who he is.
If his self-image deteriorates and he feels that he has little value in who he is or what he can accomplish because his penis doesn't look or function the same, it can lead to a range of psychological problems.
This can manifest as shame and performance anxiety and, in severe cases, depression and stress.
When self-esteem is lost and you feel inferior, sex drive and, in the most severe cases, the ability to have sex can disappear.
This will only create a further downward spiral, further affecting self-image and sexual function.
For him, this needs to be addressed in order for him to regain successful sexual function.
Here Michael also helps you with the psychological effects of the condition.
Peyronie's disease can be a serious condition that can have significant physical and emotional consequences.
In addition to physical symptoms such as curvature and pain with erection, Peyronie's disease can also affect self-esteem, confidence and sexual function.
Men may experience anxiety, stress and decreased sexual satisfaction.
It's important to seek help to get an accurate diagnosis and treatment options.
At MS Insight, we do a thorough assessment and help you with both physical treatment and mental counseling to make you feel comfortable with the situation.
Peyronie's can vary in severity and some mild cases may improve or subside over time without specific treatment, but this is only seen in around 3-10% of cases.
However, it's important to note that Peyronie's disease does not usually resolve on its own, and treatment may be necessary to relieve symptoms and prevent further progression.
However, we know from the studies that we have the greatest opportunity to make a difference in treatment within the first 15 months from the first symptoms.
We recommend consulting a doctor or specialist to assess the situation and recommend appropriate treatment options.
Peyronie's disease can in some cases affect the ability to get or maintain an erection, which can lead to impotence or erectile dysfunction.
The risk of impotence varies and depends on factors such as the severity of the curvature, the presence of pain and any impact on blood flow in the penis.
It is important to speak to a doctor to evaluate and discuss treatment options that can improve sexual function.
Can Peyronie's disease get worse over time?
Peyronie's disease can vary in development and progression.
In some people, the condition may worsen over time with increased curvature or the development of additional plaques.
In other cases, the condition may remain stable or even improve over time.
It is important to monitor the condition closely and seek treatment if symptoms worsen or affect quality of life.
Early intervention and treatment can help minimize the progression of Peyronie's disease.
Peyronie's disease can affect sexual intercourse by causing pain or discomfort during erection, as well as difficulty with penetration due to curvature or bending of the penis.
This can lead to physical and emotional challenges for both the person with Peyronie's and their partner.
Communication and openness with their partner, as well as seeking support and advice from healthcare professionals, can help to manage these challenges and maintain a healthy and satisfying sex life.
Yes, Peyronie's disease can cause pain, especially during an erection.
The pain can vary in intensity and can be caused by both the physical condition of the penis and the emotional and psychological consequences of having Peyronie's.
The pain can affect sexual function, quality of life and emotional well-being.
It's important to talk to a doctor about pain management and treatment options.
