Facts about EMTT treatments
Extracorporeal Magneto transduction Therapy, or EMTT, is a new technology for treating acute and chronic injuries of the body.
The clinic is the first in Denmark to offer the technology, and works directly with the manufacturer to further develop the equipment and treatment protocols.
The treatment is carried out by a powerful and high-frequency pulsating magnetic field from the Magnetolith machine, affecting the environment of the body’s cells so that they work more efficiently. In this way we can influence lymphatic activity, tissue damage, muscle tension, pain conditions and inflammation conditions.
Thus, we work effectively with EMTT technology for problems such as joint and muscle pain, but also in connection with tendons and bones that are damaged. In addition, it stimulates nerve activity, growth factors and the formation of small blood vessels. In this way, we speed up healing, reduce pain and increase your quality of life again. The treatment is without side effects, and can penetrate up to 18 cm into the body. A normal course of treatment with Magnetolith will be between 6-8 treatments depending on the type of problem. The treatment feels like a light prickling and stinging.

In most cases, EMTT treatment will be combined with focused and radiating shockwave, to provide the most holistic and effective treatment of the injury problem and its cause.
When treated with EMTT, the high-frequency magnetic field will affect various enzymatic processes in the body and affect the membrane potential.
When the membrane potential in cells is affected, the sodium and potassium pumps are reactivated and flow more easily in and out of the cells.
Through these processes, cells are influenced to increase cell division and reprogramming of the cell’s innermost nucleus. At the same time, communication between cells is affected, which also has an effect on pain reduction.
The magnetic field also helps to release growth factors in cells and tissues and affects collagen production, thus being an important factor in a faster healing process.
EMTT also acts on a number of different enzymes and receptors in cells that are part of the pain process. This way, when these are affected, you will experience reduced pain and increased quality of life after treatment.
The development of Magnetolith and Extracorporeal Magneto transduction Therapy, is based on the PEMF technology, which is a lower frequency and less powerful magnetic field. EMTT technology is about 40% more powerful in the absolute magnetic field than the best known PEMF devices.
At the same time we work with frequencies of 100-300 khz, which allows us to generate a higher energy over time, due to the more than 15 oscillations per pulsation that we can get with Magnetolith. Whereas with PEMF you see 1 per pulsation.
